Starting on the Sales Floor with COMET in 1980 as a specialist in Photography and Electronics turning to Store Management in 1981 and Senior Management in 1986.

Moved to Clydesdale PLC which then became part of the Scottish Power Retail division.

Within Scottish Power moved into the Commercial Department initially to add a profitable Accessory category to the product portfolio. Laterly I was responsible for all Audio products, Cameras and Camcorders.

Moving to Powerhouse I was Category Manager for Audio and Computer products.

In March 2005 I became Self Employed working with Suppliers to help them understand thier Retail Customers needs better. During this time I have worked closely with China and Taiwan on behalf of my clients helping them develop and source new products.

I have developed contacts in several provinces in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong in manufacturing, trading, sourcing and R&D.
